Fantastic Chicago style deep dish pizza, especially for the location. Don't miss this place if you find yourself in Bristol...
The pasta dishes that we had were delicious. The take and bake deep dish pizza that we had on a subsequent night was ok. Our server was super nice. The restaurant was clean.
Katherine was our friendly and efficient server. We overheard her with other customers and she is also incredibly patient. This restaurant is classy, well decorated and clean. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The wood tables, wood grain walls and amber color lights make the place feel sophisticated and welcoming but it isn't so dark that you can't see the menu because they also have a well-lit bar, regular track lighting plus nice oversized windows on one of the walls. Stuffed mushrooms-so good. They were filled with a soft filling and topped with mozzarella cheese. The sauce under them is like a buttery lemon sauce. I may be completely wrong but that's what it tasted like to me. They didn't have breadcrumbs on them like some restaurants do which was so nice not to be overloaded with a boxed stuffing or burned cheese. The main entrees for us was the saccatino and a meatball parm sandwich. The saccatino was out of this world good. I had never had this type of pasta before. It's filled with a slightly spicy Italian sausage and in a wonderful sauce that was creamy but not too rich. The parm sub came with French fries. The fries were not crinkle fries like in the picture on Yelp but they were still good and not overly greasy or salty. The breadstick served with the saccatino is so soft and warm. Not overly buttered or salty like some restaurants. We had enough food for leftovers. We ate for $38.00 and that included a large bowl of pasta, a large meatball sub and the mushroom appetizer. We will definitely be back!
They offer a variety of options of appetizers, pasta, and pizza. Pizza comes in traditional Chicago (thin crust) and deep dish. Deep dish will take at least 45 minutes at minimum. Pizzas can take up to an hour to hour and a half depending upon how busy they are, especially with to go orders. I would go back, however, they are closing at the end of the month. Hopefully they will reopen, even if in a different location.
